Engineering Inclusive Teaching: Faculty Professional Development Project

NSF Awards: 1203164

2016 (see original presentation & discussion)

Undergraduate, Graduate, Adult learners

The Engineering Inclusive Teaching (EIT): Faculty Professional Development project helps engineering educators create inclusive learning environments. These inclusive learning environments are tailored to especially support the persistence and success of women and underrepresented men students. Core to the EIT project is a series of “live” webinars, which are recorded to be available “on demand.” In the EIT webinars, social scientists distill research-based best practices for creating inclusive learning environments and master engineering educators share advice on how to translate research-to-practice. Helpful downloadable resources complement the webinar information. You can find more information on upcoming and past EIT webinars at http://www.wskc.org/eit.
