Grades K-6

A series of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) modules were created to promote higher-level thinking and spatial skills. Students collaboratively work with partners and use GIS to solve complex, map-based problems!

The GIS modules integrate technology, mathematical concepts, reading, and writing with science and social studies content. Each module also engages students in the Science and Engineering Practices outlined in the national Next Generation Science Standards.
