Informal / multi-age

This video showcases the Cyberlearning Community Report, a community-wide effort to synthesize themes and methods emerging from NSF-funded cyberlearning research. Our objective is to inspire readers to think about a 10-year horizon of emerging technology and learning sciences -- to go beyond thinking about familiar technologies like laptops, tablets, and phones -- and to consider the opportunities and challenges of learning futures with AI, speech recognition, geospatial mapping, and smart and connected communities. The video highlights examples of R&D efforts that are targeting this future horizon. Questions to think about include: How can the future of learning with technology be more inclusive? How can it prepare learners for the future of work? What will we need to know to design great learning experiences? We also suggest ways to get involved, for example, through the CIRCL website, which offers cyberlearning resources, news, opportunities, webinars, and events.
